

Cochrane is a Circle of Courage school.
This model is based on contemporary developmental research, the heritage of early youth pioneers, and Native American Philosophies of child care. The Circle of Courage is based on the traditional Native American model of child rearing. It represents four essential building blocks for nurturing young people and developing their courage. The model encompassed by four core values: Belonging, Mastery, Independence, and Generosity. These principles equip young people to meet the challenges of life by helping them build up resilience and self-esteem.

There will be no school for students from Feb 10th to Feb 15th. Classes will resume Feb 16th.
