GOAL: To establish a consistent procedure for dealing with students in the hallways during classes and students who are late.
PLAN:
1. All students leaving the classroom must carry the hall pass that is provided by the teacher
2. If students are in the hall without the pass, staff will ask them to go to class and staff will then record their names in the hall walking binder.
3. If a student’s name appears in the binder three times, the student is placed on DNA (Do not admit) by the teacher recording the third offence. The Vice-Principal will meet with the student, give a warning and make contact with home.
4. Students receiving a fourth offence for hall walking will be suspended for one day. Any time students are caught hall walking thereafter will result in a suspension. If the behaviour continues a meeting with the parents/guardian will be arranged.
