Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year at Cochrane High School. It is going to be a great year, filled with learning, activities and growth!

We pride ourselves on preparing students for the future and helping students discover their strengths. The Circle of Courage is our foundation for creating a school where Belonging, Independence, Generosity and Mastery are the guiding principles.  We want all students to feel they have a place at Cochrane. From the time our students enter Grade 9 to their graduation in Grade 12, students will have opportunities both at school and in the community to expand their knowledge and skills, and we will challenge all students to do their best.

Cochrane High School has been selected as a Structural Innovation site for 2009-2010 and the staff has created a new look to the academic program. Teachers will work in teams to better meet the needs of the students. Our goal is to engage students in all aspects of school, to foster more success and prepare them to be participating citizens of our community upon their graduation.
