Parents and families are an integral part of Cochrane High School:
• We ask parents/guardians to be aware and support our expectations for students and acceptable codes of conduct as listed below. To become informed about Cochrane High School, parents can read the handbook and newsletter, come to parents’ night, set up a meeting or telephone the school. School and home communication is vitally important.

• We ask parents/guardians to assume responsibility for regular attendance on the part of your son/daughter.

• We encourage you to work with us to improve student attendance. Please feel free to phone the school at any time.

• We ask that parents/guardians respond to reports, letters or telephone calls from the school, as we encourage our teachers to contact the home as much as possible.

• We ask you to keep the office informed as to the current student telephone and address information.

• We need your support, active interest and participation. Together, staff and parents, can encourage students to reach their maximum potential and to be the very best they can be.
