Merchandising

 The students in merchandising operate a school store and practice the basic skills of successful merchandising.  Students learn about everyday business practices, accounting procedures, advertising and sales promotions, store security, salesmanship, and entrepreneurship.  Under the supervision of their teacher, the students in the school store learn to operate the cash register, order goods, take inventory, price merchandise and arrange displays.
